Secure Payment

1. Accepted payment methods

Happy Heroes offers several secure payment methods, available depending on the country, the order amount and the options displayed at checkout.

Accepted payment methods include in particular:

• Bank card (Visa, Mastercard and compatible cards), with 3D Secure authentication, for all orders.
• Google Pay, for all orders except pre-orders.
• PayPal, for all deliveries, except pre-orders (deposit paid by card).
• In mainland France, from €100: payment in 4 instalments possible with PayPal, subject to PayPal's approval.

A pre-order with a balance is paid by bank card: the saved card is used to collect the balance. No fee is added depending on the payment method. Any other solution announced elsewhere would be an error: only this page is authoritative, together with the payment screen itself.

2. Transaction security

All transactions made on the Happy Heroes site are secured by encryption protocols that comply with current standards, in particular the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol.

The banking information transmitted during payment is encrypted and processed directly by approved payment providers. It never travels in clear text and is never stored by Happy Heroes at any time.

3. Payment providers

Payments are collected by CAWL, the payment solution of Crédit Agricole operated by Worldline. The card details are entered on a page hosted by this provider, never on our servers.

Happy Heroes never has access to the Customer's confidential banking data.

4. Checks and fraud prevention

In order to prevent fraud and secure transactions, Happy Heroes reserves the right to carry out additional checks before the final validation of an order.

These checks may include:

• automated anti-fraud controls,
• a request for proof of identity or payment,
• the refusal or cancellation of an order in the event of suspected fraud.

5. Payment of pre-orders

In the case of pre-orders, payment may take the form of a deposit or full payment, according to the terms specified on the product page.

In the case of payment by deposit, the balance will be due at the time the product is shipped, in accordance with the specific pre-order conditions.

6. Liability

Happy Heroes cannot be held liable for malfunctions attributable to payment providers or to the Customer's banking institutions.

In the event of rejection, refusal or failure of payment, the order may be automatically cancelled without compensation.
